Grade 304L Stainless Steel Tubes are the most flexible and commonly used stainless steel grade on the market. This grade is the most commonly used alloy in the industry. Welded tubes have a high mechanical strength because of their duplex microstructure and nitrogen alloying.
Some people refer to certain seamless tubes as austenitic-ferritic stainless steels because they are made up of about 50 percent austenitic and 50 percent ferritic stages. The nominal bore size of seamless pipes ranges from 1/2 inch to 16 inches, the nominal bore size of ERW tubes ranges from 1/2 inch to 24 inches, and the nominal bore size of EFW tubes ranges from 6 inches to 100 inches.
